OnePlus has expanded its lineup with the introduction of a new variant of the OnePlus 11r in Solar Red. This variant comes with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, priced at Rs 35,999. This makes it Rs 3,000 more expensive than the standard OnePlus 11r models available in Galactic Silver and Sonic Black color options.
Initially introduced in 2023, the Solar Red variant was only available with 18 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage, which has been out of stock for some time. Despite the change in specifications, the Solar Red variant maintains similarity with other variants, the main difference being the red-colored vegan leather back panel.
However, unlike the OnePlus 12R Genshin Impact Edition, which offers special packaging and additional accessories, the OnePlus 11r Solar Red variant does not receive any special treatment.
Currently, OnePlus is offering a premium price for this new color option. HDFC and ICIC Bank cardholders can avail a flat discount of Rs 1,000 on all three variants of the OnePlus 11r, effectively reducing the price of the device to Rs 31,999 and Rs 34,999 respectively, with almost a Rs 7,000 price cut on the base model.
The OnePlus 11r, the company’s previous budget flagship, is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, offering configurations with 8/16/18 GB of RAM and 128/256/512 GB of internal storage. It boasts features like a 6.74-inch curved display with a 120Hz refresh rate, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and a triple camera setup at the back, including a 50 MP primary sensor. Moreover, it is fueled by a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 100W fast charging. Recently updated to OxygenOS 14, based on Android 14, the device is also eligible for two more major Android OS upgrades in the coming years.
