OnePlus has expanded its smartphone lineup with the introduction of a new variant of the 11r model, now available in Solar Red. Priced at Rs 35,999, this variant boasts 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, making it Rs 3,000 more expensive than the standard OnePlus 11r. The original 11r was offered in Galactic Silver and Sonic Black color options, but the Solar Red variant adds a vibrant touch to the lineup.
Initially launched in 2023, the Solar Red variant of the OnePlus 11r was only available with 18 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage. However, due to its popularity, this particular variant has been out of stock for some time. Despite the differences in RAM and storage capacity, the specifications of the Solar Red variant remain consistent with other models, with the distinctive feature being the red-colored vegan leather back panel.
In contrast to special edition releases like the OnePlus 12R Genshin Impact Edition, which come with exclusive packaging and additional accessories, the OnePlus 11r Solar Red variant does not receive any special treatment. However, OnePlus is currently offering a premium for this new color option. Customers using HDFC and ICIC Bank cards can avail a flat discount of Rs 1,000 on all three variants of the OnePlus 11r, effectively reducing the device’s price to Rs 31,999 and Rs 34,999 respectively, with a substantial price reduction on the base model.
The OnePlus 11r was previously positioned as the company’s budget flagship device, equipped with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and offering varying RAM and storage configurations ranging from 8 GB to 18 GB of RAM and 128 GB to 512 GB of internal storage. Key features of the device include a 6.74-inch curved display with a 120Hz refresh rate, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and a triple camera setup at the back highlighted by a 50 MP primary sensor.
Amidst festive offers, the OnePlus 11r Solar Red variant maintains its appeal with its impressive specifications. The device is powered by a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 100W fast charging, ensuring a seamless user experience. Recently updated to OxygenOS 14 based on Android 14, the OnePlus 11r is also slated to receive two more major Android OS upgrades in the coming years, promising longevity and continued performance optimization for its users.
